Just thought I would throw this up on here in case some people on here don't frequent the Florida forums on SRTforums. I for one will be there with the yellow hotness (hopefully at the scheduled time dunno I might have to work til 3) but I think it would be a good way for all of us to get together and this should be enough time in advance for most.

So if you can make it, POST UP!

Its just north of Raymond James stadium (where the Bucs play). If you're coming from I-4 take it west to I-275 N to Dr. MLK. Make a left onto MLK and follow it west all the way til the stadium. Right before the stadium take a right @ the light and the park is right there on your left. Anybody feel free to step in if any of that is incorrect but thats how I remember it

I'm with btown, I have a 1st gen NEON as well but if aren't ashamed by us, I might show up. I normally don't have anything to do that time of the day anyways. Is alcohol allowed at the park? If so, any requests?

Alcohol is allowed but keep in mind I'm sure we will go for a ride after so you don't want to be pounding beers all day or anything, probably best to keep the alcohol to a minimum oh and 21+ only. You guys can bring some food (chips, desserts) and some soda or iced tea or something that would be cool

Just wanted to update you guys on the meet...

Since I organized the whole thing, and the fact that the Buccaneers game will be the same day, I called this morning and rescheduled the BBQ/Meet to Sunday, January 8, 2006...

It will be at the same place, same time, same location, just different day...

Please bring something for the BBQ if you plan on attending. You can find a list of what is being brought by clicking the link on the first post...

Oh yea, since I paid outta' pocket to get the permit for the "shelter", there is FREE parking for everyone, just be sure to mention that (if anyone asks)...

The reason I moved it to Sunday, was because they use Al Lopez Park as an overflow for parking, and since it's a playoff game, it would have been WAY too hectic for everyone. So hopefully, you can all still make it...

About the beer, I believe beer is allowed, but please keep it to 21+ only! Since the permit is in my name, I do NOT want to be liable for underage drinking or damages brought about by drunkness, lol...

well, it looks like in the end I am not going to be able to drive the beast up there tomorrow, I'll drive my daily driver the '95...in the end it wasnt tuning issues, or an unfinished car thats stopping me from driving the '98, oh no, I was defeated by a lack of intercooler couplers...I need two 2.5" 45 degree angle couplers and one 3" to 2.5" reducer...anyone happen to have any they feel like donating? he he, ah well, I'm sure it will be done by the next meet

First off, let me say thank you to EVERYONE who came out and participated in this great event! There was an excellent turnout, and this was probably the best Tampa Bay meet to date...

Thank you to all who brought food, drinks, supplies, and fun to this event! Special thanks to Big D for cooking some REALLY good food! Thanks to everyone for being such good sports and making this such a success...

I wish I could shake everyone's hand personally and thank them! :)

Anyways, can't wait to see some pics and videos. I know Dan, and the guys in the Eclipse got the best "footage", so can't wait to see it all...

It was so cool to finally meet everyone face to face, and get to know each and every one of you guys better!
