I purchased this from a friend back in 2000, (right when a they were $400 for the set). I had this in my 93 civic until Sept of this year.
After I pulled them out, I tested each speaker again on a bench to make sure they sounded good. The tweeters seemed a bit muffled and I didn't want to include them as I only sell something that I would buy myself.
So I'm selling the 6.5" Woofers and the crossovers. The woofers still sound as good as the day I got them. The crossovers are still in good shape, face / covers for the crossovers have some scratches, but nothing to call them abused.
The woofers has had the surround repaired. (during the install back in 2000, a friend actually poked a hole thru them with a hook pen) It was repaired (that day) professionally and they've sounded great ever since.
Reason for selling: Need money to put an all alpine system in my new vehicle.
New vehicle = new system ;)
