yep, just what it says, I have my 95 for sale to finance the last bit I need to finish my 98, anyway, like it says its a DOHC 5 speed Coupe, with R/T wheels, however it does need some work....it needs new shocks and springs since the previous owner cut these ones and blew out the shocks, it will need new tires soon because the alignment was thrown out of wack from the aforementioned spring cutting and has caused premature wear on these(they are Falken tires btw) it also needs new dash pieces due to the airbags deploying when the previous owner ran over a curb(yeah I know, I hate the previous owner too) anyway, now for the good stuff, the car runs fine, has something over 100K miles, the car comes with a 2.4L block from a 96 sebring, along with my 8.5:1 compression Wiseco pistons on Turbo 2 rods that have been machined to fit the 2.4L block(the pistons alone are worth about $400) one of the rods will need to be resized due to a spun rod bearing and a new crank will need to be gotten for the block due to scratches caused by the spun rod bearing I threw the old crank away, btw if you decide to use the Turbo 2 rods(which are forged btw and good to 550HP or so) you will need to use Turbo 2 rod bearings, anyway...also included is my ported and polished head from the sebring as well with a 3 angle valve job and stainless steel vlaves(it will need a couple holes retapped though for an m7 bolt due to me stupidly overtorquing once and stripping the m6 hole out, anyway, this head has $1000+ worth of work done to it and would cost less than $100 to fix perfectly, you could do it for free if you had a tap and die kit, anyway...for the entire package of car+head+block I am asking $1200...and here's a pic since I am finally able to upload again http://www.geocities.com/wicked93gs/Im000221.jpg

doesnt run basically?

Josiah

no, it runs fine, but I am including all the parts to build a 2.4L Turbo engine with it, or rather, most of the parts, the 8.5:1 compression wisecos are .020 over and will fit a SRT4 as well if anyone was curious

yeah, its the black one Dan, whats so eww about a 95? while there are a few little things that are different on it, its not a whole lot different from the 96-99s, oh...also some further info, its a Sport model, meaning it has fog lights, ABS and rear disc brakes, and seats that are much more comfortable than the base model with somewhat higher side bolsters

didnt you have a CF hood on it?

Josiah
12-01-2005, 05:43 PM
no, you are thinking of someone else, he has the carbon fiber hood and MPX lip(I personally dont go in for C/F, unless its painted to match)....you saw mine at the track that one day I was down there, though at that time it didnt have the R/T wheels which it does now

So its has the 100K engine in it that runs. but you're selling with an extra block and head?
Does it have air bags or they're gone? Got pics?

Josiah

yes, it has 100k miles on the 2.0L DOHC engine, which runs fine(in fact I have recently just replaced the timing belt and fuel pump) included is the 2.4 block and head with most of the stuff necessary to build it into a full engine(a new crank and oil pump and some bearings would need to be sourced though) I do have some pictures, but you would have to send me you're email address since my internet access is limited and the computer I use wont let me upload them to my hosting site, the airbags are gone(the previous owner must have taken them out when they blew...still cant believe the idiot ran over a curb and deployed them)

I will vouch for Josiah, it's a nice car, I would take it off his hands, but just don't have the cash. And the 2.4 it comes with is a sick motor, definetely worth what's he asking for. :)

Josiah

well, its no longer a complete motor which is what you say your looking for, its a block missing internals(since I decided to keep my wisecos for a future buildup of the SRT engine) and a different head that will need a couple new valves(P.S. car has been traded)

Well lets think about this for a minute, you stripped out the head bolts and to tap them the block needs to be put on a jig, due to the fact if you try to drill it by hand and it isn't even the head won't torque down even (oil leaks) or you could use a helicoil (shoot out like rocket under high torque). And did you keep the crank caps? If not then you will have to linebore it. As far as the rod being resized, you will need a new rod and all new bearings due to the fact you need a new crank. Yes you could half ass it and get it to work but in order to do it right it is going to cost some money...My uncle owns a machine shop so if someone buys this lmk and I can help you out. P.S. PROPS ON THE 3 ANGLE VALVE JOB...DON'T LET THIS INFO SCARE YOU THE CAR IS WORTH WAY MORE THAT HE WANTS BUT IT NEEDS SOME REAL WORK ALSO...

ok, first off, the car has been traded, second it takes a whole 5 minutes to retap up to a M7 bolt from an m6, ooh ahh, so hard, and these arent head bolts anyway, they are cam cap bolts, as for the rods, only one is in need of resizing anyway...I personally dont think its worth it, easier just to get new rods...probably going to go with eagles this time around anyway for the lighter weight as opposed to the T2 units, but yeah, its not like I was hiding anything, the block needs work, but not really very much, the most expensive thing being a new crank(or used one still in good condition)

Ahhhh Nick!
