IS there anyone close to the lakeland area that can help me out and show me how to do the spring mod on my WasteGate? I would greatly appreciate it and thanks for the help guys

also, why not just get a boost controller?

Get a "set" of door springs for a screen door.Wrap it around the wga rod and i "think" the battery tie down..adjust till you get your desired boost level,BECARFUL the wga rod WILL break if boost is to high,the arm is weak!

WTF....NO you shouldnt do it to any car. buy a 40 dollar JOE P! best boost controller for the price.

Im not actually saying that im going to do that mod, im just wondering because, i hear alot of people talking about it. If it involves N*gga Riggin it then, its deffently not for me.

Well that's what all of the free mods are, cheap ass ways to make your car faster for a certain extent of time.

You dont really rig anything . Just the spring holds the WG open longer . It didnt help me spike any higher anyway . Just helped me hold the boost longer ...

The spring mod isnt dangerous or "unsafe" at all. My friend had the spring mod done to his car and drove with it for about 1 year while adding on s1 etc. Nothing happened to his car. He was boosting levels just like an aftermarket wga. Truthfully if you really cant afford a $165 wga then do it it will only cost you $6-8.
