Me vs. SVO Mustang and older Datsun of some type...

I checked out the Lakeland spot and got to run a primer black looking SVO fox Mustang on Mickey Thompsons. We lined up from a stop and launched him pretty good and held it about 3-4 cars. Then I ran a nice looking blue Datsun 300ZX maybe??? We went from a 40 roll, I jumped out a couple cars and he ended up running me down up top, the Datsun runs pretty damn good. Oh well, good runs people.

Everyone was talking about how good you launched on the SVO! I think that copper saw that race though he was heading down the road right as we parked luckily no one really got anything! But great runs and hopefully you can come out again! :smile:

good run on the mustang, it was an 86GT with a pretty much stock turbo coupe T-bird 4-banger motor in it...

your car launches like a mofo!!:lol: i was very suprized to see that, most people dont really know how to drive them! i was hoping to get a run in with ya but that didnt happen for obvious reasons...:(

I'm waiting on the rematch when the stang gets setup like he was before. Shouldn't be long before he is back to full tilt.

Thanks for the run Will. When you see me stop pullin in the video thats when i popped the rear u-joint on the driveshaft. MASSIVE vibration. not cool when boosting in 5th gear.

On third honk I was about 500rpm from boost. So between that and the brake boosting you had a nice 2-2.5 cars on me. I wish we had gone from a dig to be honest. I can never match gears very well from a roll.

Normally he would but hes having some lag issues at the moment...No boost outta the hole = bad launch:(...But the lag issue should be fixed pretty soon..Jamie

Nope. Im still on the junk bottom end. Boost is at about 14 psi right now, it creeps a little up top. Still not tuned at all but it pulls real well anyways . . .

Will jumped 2.5 cars on me . . . by the end of third gear I was even with him and by the top of fourth I had pulled out a couple. If I had started out evenly with him i would expect to put 4-5 cars on him.

Went by the shop today . . . 3.0 liter block is ready, I just have to pick it up and assemble it. Thats still a few weeks away.

it was great seeing all of you out there too! lakeland really aint that far though! lol but now ya know how we feel when we drive over there all the time too! :lol: there'll be fun times again soon though! :D
