the shop that did the install is in the process of building me a new box, that is shorter and wider. so there will be no overlap. they also did custom mounting of the highs in the rear doors, witch i will take a picture later. let me know what you think.
diamond d6 12" sub in a transinal line box
diamond hex 6.5 components w/ crossovers and silk tweets in the front
diamond m6 6.5 components w/ crossovers and alminum tweets in the rear
diamond d6 600.4 channel amp for the speakers
diamond d6 1500.1 channel @ 1omn but i have a 4 omh sub.
eclipse avn5495 head unit nav/dvd/r/rw/mp3/cd/am/fm all in w1nder

yeah looks hot, plz tell me they are building the box flush though... nothing stupider than a flase floor and the box just kinda sitting there

I like it for functionality. I drive a Maxima, Im in college, of course there are times when I need to carry shit, I can take a box out very easy, cover the floor, and have a ton of room especially when I fold the rear seats down. Im not saying he should keep it 100% un-custom, but I like removability to at least have the option for trunk space.

your right too, maybe if the box was a little bit more complimenting in shape it would work better. I'm going for a 6.5" box so I can put it right up against my back wall and carpet it for a simple flush look.

well i race in track days and auto cross so i need it to be able to come out.
weight savings and i dont want it to throw me off if it were to slide around.
