So I bought a new Alpine with selectable sat radio service, so I can use XM or Sirius. So which is better, the receivers and the antennas are priced the same, so money should not be a factor based on reciever price, it is weird that Alpine has there own XM reciever and XM has there own plug and play receiver as well but it is 50.00 cheaper but Sirius has there own plug and play as well that is the same price as the Sony peice. Let me know your thoughts.

*edit* seriously, I like Sirius - better playlists and more live talk content. The comedy channel is better than XM's too
But I think you should just get the freedom pass at blockbuster and watch movies when driving.

Sirius for playlists, channels, and longer repeat time.

The majority of the customers I run across prefer Sirius.

I'm looking at getting XM. One main Reason for me is the 'XM NAVTRFFIC' option for GPS....Sirius doesn't have a similar option

I have Sirius because
When I worked in the road shop at CC, they were giving away free home and car docks...
and thats all...I love it tho, ive had it for 2 years now and I am completely satisfied. I never listen in my car, just in my room

I may be selling my XM unit. Let me know if you are interested. I am still paying for the subscription and am wanting it gone, for a price ofcoarse. :)
