View Full Version : LT1 hesitating under accel.

My friend has a 94 Z28 M6. His car drives and idles fine. But it would hesitate and misfire under acceleration. He changed the wires and plugs (MSD and NGK) about a year ago. Could it be time for a tune up? are they signs of a bad opti? concidering that he never changed it since he got the car, which is over a year.

check the o2's, check for any codes, check for arcing wires, check the plugs for carbon fouling or the like. do the simple/cheap stuff 1st.

Oh, i forgot to mension that it has a brand new fuel pump and filter. I will definately try to check the basic stuff first. Also, i was wondering if these are signs of a bad opti at all?
