What the hell is up with people who think that DDAY is some kind of drifting competition event?
Isn't dday some kind of practice course that you can do whatever you want. Who said that drifting/sliding is required? Do you get booed just because you're not sliding and not getting enough angle/smoke/speed?

When i ran at the last dday, it was all for fun. People said my "drifts" arent perfect, and i was off-roading. When I was behind the wheel, i could only see my dashboard and the track. No spectators existed in my mind. I ran the track as i pleased. Now, all of this negative feed backs is comming at me. I got only 1 positive comments the day after dday, everything else is negative.

all you have to say to people who gave you shit about how you drove is "hey wheres your car?" "why aren't you driving?"

ill have to agree and disagree.

yes it is a practice event, but when you over drive your skill level (not saying you did this, in general) and constantly go off roading, which then makes the track dirty, that upsets people.

last dday was the most ive ever seen people dip down into that front turn so much to where it was shooting up rocks

Agreed, people who act like kids and fuck up everyone elses time, that sucks.

i watched you alot though, and thought I made it a point to mention that you did well, if not then i think you did, especially for open diff.

There were people talking shit on the sidelines, but honestly, i wouldnt care what anyone thinks, and especially spectators, id talk to drivers probably though, they atleast took the effort to show up, and respect what it is to be out there.

I like the OGP track, and was considering signing up for dday8 to participate in a front wheel drive volks, to get a better feel of the car.

90% of the people who talk shit are video game drifters, and the other 10% got beat as a kid, or are worried you are going to show them up someday because you are actually out there learning instead of talking shit on the internet like the said 90%.

dont worry, thats what they make windows for...stick your left arm out coming around that 270 degree turn around the tree, and drop 4 fingers for the crowd.

Can your sig be any larger ?

Dont worry about what other people think. Do your thing and progress on a level you are comfy with. Ask those who will help you and take critisism. Theres always going to be someone better than you out there no matter what you do. There are people here who forget that.

Sandy, the only feedback I got was from vang, it's really no big deal. Just keep on driving and let the retards talk about you. In the end, you won't be talking about them.

Oopsie. That 1st turn was the trickest of them all, that's why i drove rather slow on that turn to avoid the baseball sized rocks.

Dude Dday's were getting borning for some of the people who have been doing them for a while so at dday 7 we made it a point of teams to see who has more skill....looks like it grew into dday 8 but you have to remeber its not so much that they were giving you negitive feedback so much as just advice on how to improve (I hope) But yeah its more fun to have a little inside competition because it pushes you that much further not to suck.
