ive asked question after question in the other forums about my tiburon and my gs-t and i get better answers from you dodge guys about my cars than the owners of the tiburons and gst's thanks.
my question is: i push my clutch pedal in on my gst and it doesn't come all the way back out or sometimes not at all so it really driving like the clutch is still partialy ingaged. any ideas? i think its the slave master.?

slave master???? i think your confusing master cylinder and slave cylinder. and yes i would say that would be a good place to start. is it low on fluid. check for air in the system. a quick bleed should fix most problems unless its completly shot.

is it actually trying to stay in gear when you shift to neutral or is it shifting into neutral just fine? in other words...is it the clutch or the clutch pedal that isnt releasing? if its the pedal I suppose you can always check the spring...hate to say it and scare you, but 2nd gen DSMs did have crankwalk issues...all 7 bolt 4g63s I think, I cant remember the symptoms exactly, but I believe funky clutch engagement is one of them..

yeah i know all about crankwalk, and one of the first things you notice about it is lower engine noise. and HMCK20 im ment it like this slave, master (and or).
ok it will go in and out of gear just fine but the pedal stays half way in.(most of the time) sometimes im forced to put my foot under the pedal and pull it up. but when it stays in sometimes it acts as if the pedal is not fully releasing the gear. so when i accelerate out of a shift it feels as if im still holding the pedal partially in.......ie....louder exhaust but not correct acceleration.

maybe the throwout bearing then? not real sure, I'm kinda weak as far as my tranny knowledge goes...I havent jumped into that pit yet...

Isn't there a pedal return spring or something under there?

The clutch is probly self adjusting, so if its not a weak or broken spring, I would think the slave cylinder is getting tired. How many miles on cluch? and what type of abuse does it get?

havent checked anything yet, but i will. 150000 on tranny, and i beat the piss out of it everyday. i cant wait for crankwalk. its not the throwout, i would be getting all kinds of racket from the block, crank area. i will look.
