I desperately need a 2g nt ECU for an automatic, mine took a shit on me and the car won't even start. I have tons of stock and aftermarket parts I can trade for or pay cash I just need one bad.

Hey guys I found a 96 and a 97 ECU will that work in my 99? 96-99 is OBD II and 95 is OBD I right? And does it need to be programmed for my car and what not? I was told it did but hadn't heard that before...and info would greatly be appreciated...this question is for you Hector...I know you know

96-99 is OBDII where 95's are primarily OBDI. You dont have anything to lose by trying it however I know for aftermarket ECU's for the 420A, AFX only makes one for the 97 and it wont work on any other year. That would be my only concern with crossing years. Try and get a ECU pinout diagram and compare the years first before doing anything.
