Just installed my downpipe with cel fix and uppipe over this Sat. Alot of fun not too bad. I love the sound. I started the car with just the downpipe on it was loud. Also installed Perrin crank pulley and Tein hood damper. With other small things but not much.
What should I do next
TurboXS Utec
ACT cluch stage 1 or 2 with Flywheel Prolight
TMIC big one , i do have a STI hood scoop
Turbo VF34 with STI injectors and fuel pump
Crower Cam gears stage 2 with vailtrain upgrade
I would like to do them all.
IF you have any better ideal I would like to hear them. Also does anyknow where I can get a front bumper and a rear bumper painted??
thanks

you have to tune for the heat wrap. and it keeps the heat in the exhaust so you will have the ability to melt your rear bumper like me... lol
i would do some tuning.

I say skip on the flywheel. Too light and you can't launch and will throw misfire codes. Save the cams until you put on a larger blower. Valvetrain work on the vf34 is not worth the cost/time:performance ratio. Alky/h2o injection is a great bang for the buck option. Who is tuning your setup with UTEC?
Keep us updated

Exactaly, i saw some threads on other forums about how great wrapping your comeplete exuahst was. So the heat stays inside the pipe and moves faster inside. I wrapped my d/p it it made my car run allkinds of weird. The engine temps were great, but the stock tune on the ecu is to touchy.

I'd say get a UTEC, EcuTEK, etc. and get tuned. I don't have one YET, but I'm stock and the UTEC is one of my first purchases before I venture any further down the mod road. Picking my UTEC up tomorrow...

With the DP wraped under the hood now is alot colder so i am keeping it on.
It looks like eveyone is saying to replace the ECU. What would be the best one to get? Also what about the tuning. I live in bradenton so I don't think anything is around here.
I like the turboXs Utec one with the switch around 945 with switch

The main reason people caution against heat wrap is that all that extra heat is kept in the metal and has a hard time escaping, and can, as a result, make it really brittle. Thin walled piping is particularly vulnerable.
Ceramic coating is different, since it keeps the heat out of the metal from the inside.

DOUG can tune anything and everything. choose your poison, basically. i prefer the ECUtek but it stinks that there is no mapp switching for the DBW applications (04 sti and up, and some others i believe). the UTEC does allow for this however, and Doug can make ya a race mapo and a pumper map, ifso desired. perhaps the longest link, evar....

Very nice what you did to the DP. I'm glad that you are getting better use out of it then my closet.
Other things that you need before the tune:
Perrin EBCS
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Injen One-piece Cold Air Intake

Thanks for your help every body , i will order a new ECU I am still going to do more RD on what one is better.
I like the ECUTEK and the tubroxs utec. ECUTek just flashs the ecu and it can learn what going on like temp wearther things like that. The utec is just load maps and it stays that way so when the wearther changes you might have a problem.
Is there alot of people that have the ecutek?

So true. EBCS works great on the small turbo's, but cannot control high cfm blower's. I will have mine for sale very soon.
