I'd reconsider throwing a 1200.1 on a single 10L7. I trust Kicker products about as far as I can throw them.

ok whys that?
Trendy ricer products that need 0/1ga wire and a 250amp alternator to even get close to their rated RMS output... not to mention a 1200.1 is not the best choice for weight reduction - But neither is a solo baric. Why not a nice Diamond D6 and a JL.5001 or a Alpine mrd-605 both which have small footprints and are on the lighter side.

ok i was only going with the solo baric because of my bro has 2 in his caddy and they hit realy hard.

kicker tends to design there stuff for just really deap bass but it doesnt really HIT that great... We have the L5's and cvr's at work.... Those in a kicker box dont really compete with the MTX 5500 or 7500 OMO because mtx designs it more for the punch.. but hey the l7's are loud

Since you said you are going towards a race setup, I would go with a single JL or diamond - Best power/SQ mix with reasonable weight.

just so you know, the loaded L5 ported enclosure at Circuit city is 400, 2 cvr 12's in a box are the same.
