Red SRT-4 in New Tampa area

Yesterday I was in my fiances RSX leaving my neighborhood and I saw in the rear veiw there was a red srt4 comming up behind me that also just came out of the same neighborhood. I have never seen it in there before nor have i seen it around at all in the local area. He pulled up next to me in front of Wharton High School and I was going to talk to him about his car for a second since I also have my Srt and saw that he had several parts on the car. When I rolled the window down to say something he found it neccasary to just floor it and look like a dumbass because there was no where to go. Once in front of me I noticed that he had a temp tag on the car that expires in about 3 weeks which tells me that he had just bought the car and obviously did not do the work himself or for that matter even pay to have the parts put on. I was just wondering if anyone knows who this is and if anybody else has noticed that some of the srt owners are starting to look alot like the majority of mustang drivers who are stuck up and think their cars are the best. When i first got my srt other owners would wave when they past or acknowledge you in some way and if you wanted to talk to them they wouldn't take off like a dumbass in traffic. Whoever it is his car is pretty nice and I would still like to talk to them about the car and see what hes got and so on.

When i had my mustang, i found other mustang owners to be really friendly and such with me, not only driving but a quick chat at a light or something as well, Not stuck up at all.. and IMO definately more mature than SRT4 owners (some not all).

he had wheels, lowered, huge fmic, and i saw he had a three gauge pillar. He also had a bov that my girl said sounded like a girl sneezing but that makes no difference as long as it works.

I ran into a yellow one just like mine today, gave him a thumbs up and he gave me the nod. Wish it was always like that but some people gotta show off....sucks b/c it ruins the rep. for the rest of us

Sounds like my friend's car, his name is Aaron, but he did all the work himself, its an 03 (one of the first guys to get an srt arround here), I guess he sold the car :dunno:

Yea,Aaron sold his car,and now drives a truck. :lol:..His car was damn nice though,to bad he got so many tickets. :sad:

THat is how it was when i first got my srt. People would see another and wave or nod to acknowledge the fact there was another one around. Wish it was still the same.

Most of the time I spot other SRT's when they are headed the opposite direction of me. I hardly ever get the chance to say hi.

Just got a 2004 Red Srt-4.. Had it for 2 weeks now. Bone stock except for my used s1 that is coming in the mail.

Live in Land O'Lakes.. Stagecoach on 54.. usually around but not down there most of the time, unless im hitting up a movie or something.

Love everything about the srt.. waiting to get a hi from another srt.. also looking for anyone with one in my area would love to meet up and ride or something :) maybe hit up the sonic car show by me on fridays.

I dont think was you for the simple fact you said you where bone stock. You should def. come the meets on Wed. at Target on County line and BBD. There is only about 3 including myself that show up regularly.

I used to go to that meet, just haven't gone out in awhile. That meet is where I met TTime and Dirtyshroomz, its a pretty good meet

as far as neons go ive only owned first gen rt's and i would love to have an srt. i went and spent the money on a 03 gtv6 tiburon auto so my women could also drive it. if that wasnt the case i would have got one. anyways i always give the srt thumbs up and most nod or wave or something. i love the cars as also the first gen RT. when my new project RT is done i will come to the meet if you srt owners dont give me shit about being in a first gen. my car is not some slow shit with a fart can so its not a disgrace, it will be fully rebuilt probly (hopfully) running 12's w/o spray.
