For sale: 73 914 2.0 engine with a big bore kit (~2200+) with A/C. Engine running but needs a minor top-end rebuild(rings/valve job). Includes complete Weber 40 setup (with a rebuild kit), and a complete 2.0 Porsche FI setup (including installation manual). Still in a 73 914 that's about to get a 2003 WRX engine. Includes SS Heat Exchangers, and an excellent Ansa dual tip exhaust. Previous owner spent $6500 plus on engine rebuild/install at Dave White's AutoSports. Whole shebang for $1000. For sale : Red 73 914. Car originally sold at Reeves in Tampa. Very rare early 73 that had vinyl trim around the windwhield frame. 1.8 with 96mm pistons, ~2000+cc, with less than 5000 miles on new topend (~$1500) including high compression pistons/cylinders/1.8 heads from Spain. Bottom end rebuilt/balanced by Total Performance/Tampa about 40k ago including SCAT cam. Weber 40s with fresh rebuild. New ignition tuneup (cap, rotor, wires, plugs) including CompuFire (no points) ignition. 5 Fuchs wheels. Nearly completely mechanically / cosmetically rebuilt, very few items not rebuilt or replaced since '96. Too much to list. Includes new windshield/ss trim in the box ($500+). Existing windshield is aftermarket and trim never fit properly. 10 foot paint job - still has acrylic laquer. Bikini top cover. Owned since '96, very solid fast car, excellent interior, garaged, over $14k invested. Selling to make room in the garage for the WRX conversion. Above extra engine components included for $6000.
