yeah.. this car is slow..

I'll post up specs and pics on the new car later this week probably.. when I get the car street legal...


car is just bolt ons with a stock clutch (that sucks)


but I raced my stepdad in his g35 sedan :lol: from a dig and put 5-6 cars on it by the top of my 3rd gear..


I dont miss the t/a but I miss having a quick car :(


clutch is slipping BAD btw.. for reference of how this car runs.. It would definetely take the T/A from a dig but the T/a would pass it at like 85 with 20mph of momentum...


from a 20roll with the t/a and this car its like 5-8 cars.. not sure yet I got to get a new clutch and get it running how I want.. its modded good but I think in about a month or so when I get a new clutch and get it running right I may be able to squeeze a 103 trap out of it..

electric fan
speed density car
bbk shortys
bbk o/r H
flowmaster dumps
3.73's
MSD cap... new sparkplugs and wires (I bought) and a full bronson tune up
stock clutch
stock shifter
about 100lbs off the nose of the car
belt is only running through waterpump,alt,crank and p/s
rebuilt motor with receipts.. but still stock h/c/i (306)

I'll be out in a week or 2... smacking down swapped civics and stockish LT1's WOOT!!!!!! :lol:

they are good deals though.. I got to get a good clutch for this thing.. and a pro5.0.. those are my first mods.. maybe a few cosmetics..


I plan on throwing an explorer intake on there.. get some 1.7 rockers.. TB and beat ppl that spend alot of money on there cars..


keep speed density then spray it and beat ppl who make car payments :)

Speed density cars make the best power over the mass air cars stock, bolt ons and you're definately high 13s even on limited traction. A little spray, and you're blowin by your old t/a. :)

88 has the stoutest stock cam too ;-) throw that in with 1.7 rockers..


explorer intake.. wiht a 65mm TB and a ported lower.. I'm shooting for mid to low 13's n/a with sub 2.0 60fts.. I dont want to really do h/c on this car.. I dont want to swap out to MAF either.... I'll be honest.. I just want to be as fast faster then you N/A with a stock cam :lol: .. it may end up me having to do gt40ps.. we'll see how everything goes.. I'm feeling the car out now though and getting the drive train ready for some beating

Good luck man, it's tough... I think the cam helped a lot to make the most out of these shitty heads though. And I'm not sure, but any real changes in airflow the speed density hates it, I'm not sure if you can even do heads on them.

Hey I know my brother wants to trade these welds for some cobra r's if you might be interested. Just leave the name, no one cares. :lol: If I bought an 03 cobra or c5 vette I'd leave my name the same.
