HULK vs z06 [Archive] - Tampa Racing

walking out of a local store on hillsboro i noticed a z06 had parked next to me. nice black one. the owner happened to be walking out same time as me. i compliment him on his car because i would love to have a z06. i have him if its stock and he says its completely stock. he then notices my car and asks me if its in an STi. i say yes and it has a few mods on it. then that was really it. i follow him as hes pulling out because id like to run one. as we are pulling out a do a little rev to let him know im behind him. we turn out onto the road and we get up to about 20mph and i get next to him. he asks if i want to run for fun, im like sure. he says we go on his 3 honk. we both and he spins like hell and i jump a car instantly. im continue to slowly pull and we shut down at about 80mph due to traffic. we exchange thumps. was a good and fun run

I know Chris' did with his cam, and a friend of mine with the stock one would dead hook from any roll in 1st gear, but of course that depends on road surface as well.

Mine never hooked, especially in 1st gear, slam second and the ass end is going out and thats when i was 100% stock.. atleast in mine :dunno:

You must push the pedal down further than anyone I know. :nworthy: :lol: I don't know then, only drove 2 other stock z06's, and they did pretty good.

i know when he hit it, the tires lit up. i could hear them. i got a good jump while he was spinning and was able to hold it.

its fun and not spinning takes some getting used to. it spins on launches though.

ours sigs and cars are pretty similiar. black, boosted, and 4 drs :lol:

i can hold my own but my short gearing and the z06 have more top end is why i think the z06 will take me. it will be a close and fun race. me and john have wanted to run for a few months now. its all good fun and sure as hell dont mind losing to car like that.
