View Full Version : Turbo Eclipse, black skittle, yellow Cobra, white STI.....

Only got a couple runs in last night, earlier in the night I raced another STI, we didnt get any even runs from a roll, he got a big hit twice and I couldnt catch him, but we caught a light finally and I put about 1 and a half cars on him to about 110.

Then I caught up to a yellow 98 Cobra with chrome rims. He floored it at a light and I rolled out soft and stabbed it and by second gear he was in the rearview. We got another light and I decided to practice my launch.....need I say more? The race was over before it started, I waited to hear his tires squeal and I launched it, slammed second for a bit and let off with him about 3 cars back.

Headed out to a local spot around 2am, ran a silver Eclipse with a big front mount from a stop, Dont know what else he had done, but when the flagger dropped his arms I gave him a 5k launch and put a total of atleast 10 cars on him.

The last run was the closest, a black srt4, he said he had a few boltons and dynoed at RaceRelated earlier that day and put down 298 to the wheels, we ran about 10 times, all close races but I got him by a car and had a steady pull in every race. We went from 35, 60, etc......He said he was on here but I dont remember his name. Good runs tho... :thumbup:

hey good kills man! sound's like it didnt rain over there. i'm glad at least you guys had some fun! it started raining over here just when everyone got here to race! lol

No I didnt see any rain all night. If it does rain though I'll only run from a dig. :nerd:

we had some pretty fast cars out in lakeland just waiting for the rest of the guys to get there , but just before we were heading out to the track then the damn rain started lol we were all kinda disapionted :(

how do you think BMP feels...they only had 13 people show up to the track yesterday...and 10 were for the vette challenge...

dude that was just plain wrong. i just went out to the light to practice my lauch i had just got a new clutch earlier that day and needed to practice before i raced anyone but you just came out behind me no warning or even asking. i bogged at the line and you did your 5 grand lauch and i sure as hell want able to reel you in. then you never came back for a rematch. ill see you out next week.


BTW thats not a front mount its my radiator :D

Yea dude your cars pretty quick and those were some close runs. Ill have to get some more stuff for my car and run you again. see you next weekend.

ill be out at track day even if im not running. i figured you wanted to run me since you came up behind me. i thought that guy in the black n/a eclipse was going to blow up his shit. he was racing everything and everyone he lost to a cadillac sedan :lol:

I asked everyone and they said you had kept going straight i didnt know you were on the otherside. just look me up next week or two im sure ill be back out im there almost every sat.

I have full exhaust, intake and tune. I should have a few more minor things soon, I'll prolly do springs, shifter and pulleys this week or next.

Yah we are real close. Im still getting the hang of the new powerband but the one clean run we had was from a dig. I jumped out about two cars from a dig (he spun). And it stayed that way till past 120 and we shut down.

what did you tune? bigger turbo or just tuned it for more boost??
