05 Mustang GT Vs Mitsubishi Lancer EvoVIII MR

I was on my way from Micky D's on SR54 and 41 Intersection In Land o lakes. Im driving my 06' Saturn Vue when Im pulling out of the Hess gas station exit when I see a Mildly modded 05 silver Stang GT w/black vinyl stripes and from what I can tell is a fairly stock charcole MR evo.
Im driving the suv b/c it was my 21st Birthday and we were on our way to Ybor w/some Chicks (the Ion wasnt big enough) and the evo pulled behinde the mustang and i pulled allong side of the evo at the light.
And just about 5mins earlyer my friend and i were like we should have brought the ion out cuz there will be something to taunt us on the way down there(I was hitting myself for not driving the Ion, Im sure its happened to you guys)
So they take off kinda slow not knowing I know what they are about to do. We go down 54 a ways down but just about 3 miles b4 Vetrans Overpass. they are pacing eachother around 55mph and I can see them talking for just a few and the mustang makes the move black smoke comming out of the exhaust and everything the evo fallows suit running him down.
Themustang was about 2-3 cars up when the evo just started to pull like a raped ape. Now I was anticapating the hit so i jumped on the gas and tryed to get a close look of the race Knowing i wasnt gunna be able to keep up for long. But I only found myself about 4 cars back w/ a full load of people. The evo had about 2 solid cars on the stang but couldnt pull anymore and it stayed even till they shut down.
Now my turn off was just ahead so I watched them go under the overpass twords NPR. and about 5 seconds later I realized I had a Camcorder in the Vue that night and could have got the whole damn thing on tape!!!!:lol:
But hey what can you do:D \


I was wondering if these cars were on TR b/c if you were that was a nice evo and a pretty nice looking Stang I might add. But If i had the Ion I think there could have been a diffrent outcome on who was getting beat by who LOL, It would have been nice to bag two nice cars in one night, On my 21st b-day aswell;) that could have been a nice present.Chime inif it was one of you guys:D

all Mr's are diffrent, ACR2envy was a witness to a Charcole one that I raced like 2 times one from a 5 roll ( i won) and lost to a dig(awd pwns me) and I beat your girls evo
(you driving) by about the same lenghts the mr should beat an evo like 22ft or so LMAO give or take jfwy

I raced that red one thats up at the bruce b meet all the time, Id geta big lead from a 40 ,b4 he'd pass up top at like 85/90ish and he had some good mods too/ 272gears -MBC-UICP-Intake exhaust and bov. But after 85 or so he'd fly pretty damn fast BTW. he didnt creep away he flew. LMAO what could i do ya know:lol:

I missed a gear both times like a dumb fuck. I am pretty sure the gst can take the mr now from whatever roll. Id like to see that guy with the mr get a reflash, it's the best thing you can do for that car.
