So my Dad and I were heading to Lowes on U.S. 19 and we came across a silver maybe 2001 911 with a huge carbon fiber wing, wheels and some sick exhaust. We catch up to him at the landmark and curlew light heading towards u.s.19. The light drops green and we both launch it. Half way through 2nd I am already about 2 cars ahead. I shut down at 120 and the 911 is cars behind. The guy was cool too, gave me a thumbs up.

Awesome kill, raced a GT2 on the way to school in the C5 and I couldnt believe I pulled him to 170 mph by 1/2 car, I dont see how though aren't they like 11 sec cars?

no way you pulled a GT2 sorry, but no...it had to have been a GT3....gt2's run mid 11's....

hey sry guys it was going over a bridge on I75 on the way to college, he did have his girlfriend in the car btw (she gave me thumbs up)! I'm positive it was a GT2 cuz i saw the badges and that special wing they have. I'll gonna try to upload the pic from my cell phone of it but its shit quality....

I do now.......I was at sunshine and saw a ZO6 run a 10 flat without missing a gear.

You saw a Z06 run a 10 flat without missing a gear at sunshine? Lets see... its a 1/8 mile track and 10's are not very good.

very true, my old 92 hatchback civic with nitto dr's and i/h/e ran low 10's in the 1/8th.....lol on a stock sohc vtec....thats sad....

I agree, I've the best i've seen a C6 run at bradenton was mid 13's....Guess some people just cant drive.....

I just reading road n track and the tested a c6 and all they could get out of it was a 13.1 at 111

that doesnt seem quick at all. i went 9.1@ 80mph in the 1/8th missing 2nd gear. pretty mush stock then also.

A C6 doing the 1/4 in 13.1 @ 111 is very sad. I've seen numerous articles with it doing mid 12's.

Nice kills.

No reason not to believe the GT2 kill. There is a reason Evan Smith and some of those guys run some incredible times. It is called practice. I beat my father in law in his '03 Z06 in my Camaro, but he has never made a single pass down the track. His car should have me by atleast 2-3 tenths.
