Just got home...It sure was hot. Going to Orlando gives you an appreciation for how well Bradenton is run. It took the track officials FOREVER to put out a fire on a S-10 truck in the AM rounds today, destroyed the truck.

Yep, BMP's staff is much better and the facility has come a VERY long way.. Orlando is a dust bowl.. been sideways on that track enough...

the starter was the first one there with an extinguisher and he ran there. something is wrong with that. As far as track prep, there was none. I was there all day on saturday and didn't see any prep. The drag radial cars were smokin their tires like funnycars. I sure hope the US Street Nats at BMP takeoff, cause I would love to see what these cars can do with a good track.

I loath osw. That has to be one of the worste tracks. That's why people like me who live only 7min from the track would rather drive 2hrs to a real track to run.

From the above link,

" He exited the vehicle with the help of the OSWD safety crew as the carbon-fiber body began to burn ferociously, sending a plume of thick, black smoke into the air. " (BULLSHIT ! )

Miller got himself out and walked away no one from OSW was there for 30 more seconds and it was some random fat dude running from the starting line. It took right at 1:02 from when the fire started until anyone with a fire extinguisher showed. They are damn lucky they did not watch Miller burn alive.

Funnier yet is the photo sequence they have
Photo 1, truck engulfed in flames
Photo 2, truck engulfed in flames
Photo 3, truck engulfed in flames, driver's side door is being pushed open from inside, no safety personel to be seen
Photo 4, Miller is out of the truck with not one, not two, but three track officials with fire extinguishers in hand.....................
