NOT im not a cop i am buildin this neon and wanted the people helping my with the info see it when its done. anyways i only asked because i went to buy several things from people on here and everytime i ask where in tampa are you they are like i live in zepherhills, or sarasota and shit like that thats why i asked.

Gandy is crap any more. Has been for a while now. Went out a couple weekends ago. Saw a bunch of loud rice, cops, cops, cops, helicopters, gits, etc.

i went last saturday with my friend, there were alot of cars but didnt seem anything really fast. srt-4, and evo, alot of loud ass stock civics mostly. one widebody supra which was a bit different but i wish i could see him run.there was only 1 highway patrol around and he was parked in the median where everyone was parked on the side of the road.

I HAVENT BEEN there for a long time i think last year, the last time i was ther i got pulled for some bs following to closely and modified exhaust. thats bs i got 4 points for the following to closely, and i was headed home going 7 miles under the speed limit so they would leave me alone. fkn oink oinks

Then don't go. It's simple. Gandy is a waste of time IMO. Much better spots in Tampa.

i was just wondering because i was on 19 and this orange one with cf hood, i see all the time started fing with me(i was in my tiburon gtv6 with shifttronic tranny) i have cai and no muffler just to free up alittle airflow and give it some sound...........anyways he is behind me and jumps on it and starts coming beside me so i down shift and pedal to the floor i stayed ahead of him for a good 50 yards then he came slowly past me so i wasnt that impressed with that car.
not sure what was up with that i know how srts perform and i love em but he wasnt that fast, it was probly the driver. anyways no big deal. are srts any good from a light because this same srt i caught at the track in my gst, stock with just down pipe and i have boost leak so im not performing up to par and in the 8th he only beat me by a couple 10ths i think like 3 or 4 tenths. but like i said probly the driver. dont get me wrong not dissin srt at all if i could have a car it would be srt.

and flneon if you read why i asked that you would understand. and what does asking the question have to do with going out there or are you just tryin to have something to say.

The reason I said what I did is because the last thing anyone wants is another "noob" coming out and killing himself and/or someone else or disrupting the flow of things (i.e. burnouts, loud music, sensless reving of your engine, etc). Say your different. Since you are a "noob", I would expect you to but the fact of the matter is if you don't already come out or don'y know how toyu handle yourself, then do everyone else a favor on a Saturday night and make a bag of popcorn and stay in.

And I agree with the "BS" call on the Tiburon story. I've dusted everyone I have ever come across and I'm completely all-motor and a stock SRT will put a hurt on me without a shot of nitrous so there ain't no way you got a jump and stayed ahead for any length of time unless you started racing him a quarter mile ahead of him already.

Another thing.....why come to the Dodge forum of TR when you don't own one and ask about coming out on the weekends? You set yourself up to be scrutinized under a microscope when you do something that makes no sense.

And last but not least, its not TR drama. Its you getting into a pissing match with someone else that knows more than you.

Ok, that was my fault. I didn't read every single post so I apologize for that miscommunication but don't doubt my automotive experience.

You also didn't say you had previously been out to Gandy either. You gotta admit that when someone just pops up and starts asking about "spots" that it prompts some horrifying images i.e. tickets, crashes, deaths.

And on a persona; note, congrats on the Army. I tried and was minutes from going to boot when some paperwork problems put me on a 6 month hold. My current job, Cox Target Media, Valpak specifically pays quite well as you can probably imagine. Anyways, props for the Army and my apologizes. I'm not stuck up enough to not admit when I'm wrong. I have a massive respect for veterans so I will not bother commenting on other parts of your previous post.

Anyhow, you can see where I'm coming from when I say what I say though.

yeah didnt mean to blow smoke up anyones ass, i also apologise, i do own a 98 rt with a couple thosand in parts ready to be put on to it its not started yet and i still have questions so if you wanna respond to my other posts that would be great all info is needed. the quote is to show what you where refering to about not going. but hopfully when i get this empty engine bay filled we can meet up out there and you can see what ive done.

I havn't been out for quite awhile myself and won't be anytime soon anyways. Turboing my car so I'll be wrenchin' on that and then getting everything tuned. I'll def bring it by and let you check it out once all is up and running and you can check it out and look everything over and give me your thoughts.
