Saturday, October 15th, I know alot of the bay area and central Florida areas are going to be at DDay #...what ever it is, BUT!! For those of you who are not, or would like to see something different and exciting, Charlotte County Speedway is hosting Hot Tea Dori sponcered by State of the Art Customs is having exhibition drift showoff!! The drivers of Hot Tea Dori, including myself, my new car is up and running as of this weekend, will be having exhibition runs to promote the new and upcoming Fast Drift series. Fastruck racing series is having there regular Saturday night heats and mains, so there will be plenty of entertainment and Drifting. I know everyone in this forum has been to at least 1 dday, so I think its time to try something different. We would like to go to the DG event,but it just falls on the same day. I'll have dirrections as soon as I get more info and details, we would love for our friends to come out and show their support in making this happen. Hope to see you there :) :) :) :)

Everyone come out and see, because the fast drift series will be coming soon so get to know the courses now. It will be a drift series based in the south east US, basicly designed to feed into Forumla D. Heres your chance to see Fast Drift Beta .05 before it comes out.

they are different lol.
Fast XXXXXX is the series so there is the Fast Truck Serise (basicly a feeder to nascar trucks, Theres the Fast Car series which is feeder series into nascar, and now fast drift....TADA!

Sorry to confuse anyone. this is just a beta test for the fast drift series to try and get a fan base, Within a few months it will be a full blown series allowing anyone who wants to compete to come in on a points series style competion,

i dunno, mad props to hot tea for getting this goin, i just think it would be more sensible to not compete wit DDAY for attendence, from the people i know, theyd rather drive than watch, i cant do either cause im currently a gimp, but best wishes to all of Hot Tea and hope this fast drift thing takes off

It's an oval track just like Hialeah was. Do a google for...guess what...Charlotte County Speedway, and you'll find the site. :p

believe us we are bummed its on the same day as dday8. however the drift demo's are following the fast truck series. the first event unfortunetly coincides with dday 8 totaly out of our control...but anyone thats free please come show support to prove that florida wants a points chase style drift series that we all can compete in. good luck at dday we wish we could be there too

The infield is already paved in the typical X pattern but the lanes are much wider than orlando speedway and the banking is only 10degrees with no harsh transition to tear off body parts...

once agian thank you to every one for the support!!!! we need as many people as possible in the drifting community to get on board !!!!

I am also trying to work out drift & tune nights at various tracks?!?!?!?

I think you need to just keep your negitive personal comments to yourself. We try very hard to make the scene better here in florida, and to get a REAL series going for the grassroots level drifter.
What are you doing that makes a differance?(besides failed video productions)
thought so.

back to on track-
The people that are putting this on are REAL serious about making this series a certin thing. We are basicly going down their to drive the shit out of our cars and drop some jaws. This is really gonna open up some doors if you guys are serious(so get good and compete) :D

For anyone who can make it, I would reccomend going. From the sounds of it, the owner of the Fast X series is really into the motorsports world, and wants to put on an accessible series for drifters, unlike Formula D where you need gobs of money and backing to be competitive.

The more support that this expo gets, the more likely it is that there will be a series for our level of drifter. The only conflict with DG that this event poses is merely the date, which unfortunately could not be changed.

no it starts at six and unfortunately we do not know an exact time we will be well hmm lets say performing so your best bet would to be there at 6 or before and watch so ya hope to see everyone that can make it there!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome event guys, everyone did great, and the crowd loved it. Hopefully this will go places its definatly a step in the right direction. Cant wait for nov 19.

Awsome weekend. that was one hell of a show...i cant believe the welcome we got and how many people were wanting to see more drifting....THIS WILL BE HUGE!!!!!!.... to everyone that couldn't make it...
