i was goin down 5th ave in st pete towards 275 and up ahead i see a yellow 03-04 convertible cobra going in the same direction.. i play a little catch up and the two of us do a little highspeed fly down the interstate (not really racing) we both exit on 38th ave and hit stopped traffic.. so the guy in the cobra decides to powerbrake a burnout.. i couldnt be shown up like that so i did the same, and suddenly there is a silver trans am and a yellow cobra completely hazing 38th ave.. if there were any cops around they wouldnt have even been able to see.. we finally realized that traffic ahead had moved so we roll out of our burnouts... he gripped up first but once i gripped i was right next to him.. we went til about 60 and then had to let off neck to neck due to traffic.. he shot a thumbs up and made a turn and i went home.. i dont know what exhaust he had on that thing but it was the nicest sounding mustang i think ive ever heard.. thumbs up to cobra guy for the burnout competition!
