i need help what does a speed control actuator do???does anyone have one lying around cause mine the boot is messed up

im pretty sure thats your cruise control , do u have cruise control?

no, but when i push the gas pedal it goes like i was stomping it, what could it be??

check your throttle linkage. Mine broke when I went wide open throttle. The two cables got tied up.

i believe also that it is for your cruise control. also check your TPS (had 2 go bad on me) and possibly some bushing/seal in the trottle body if the engine also tends to surge (my mechanic found that out). could also be one of the billion fragile vacuum hoses which is why i hate that motor.
