So i have come to a pivotal decision. I have Tein S-tech's now and its time to graduate to something a bit better. Ive narrowed the decision down to either Tein Flex's or Zero Sports Winning S. First the Pros:

The tein's are 32-way adjustable and are compatible with the EDFC. They also have a good rep and i know tons of people who have them.

The ZS are 4 way adjustable which simplifies the settings and they come with Pillowball mounts on front and rear.
They're ZS for crying out loud, uber rare and uber cool factor.
Zer Sports does only subaru parts so they are made to work with the car exclusively

Now the Cons:

Although 32-way adjustable, thats 32-ways to screw up the suspension geometry and i will admit i am no suspension whizz. The EDFC is almost $400 extra and kind of pointless if i mainly daily drive. And most places only sell with pillowball mounts for the front or for extra $$.

The ZS are very hard to come by and a bit more expesnsive but not much. Also there is almost no feedback from people that have them on their car and last but not least. All the instructions will be in Japanese :(

So what do you guys think? SHould i stick with the ever so popular and tried and true Teins or be a JDM pimp and hit up the Zero Sorts? Thanks for any feedback.

So you're telling me having the ability to change the amount of dampening on the fly is worthless for daily driving? I think not.

tein flex and edfc is 1800 shipped from 4 differant companies for the 05. been doing some cold calling.

and if you have 32 differant ajustments it is a damper controller. where do you see that you could mess up spmething???

The 32-ways are controlled by the EDFC. Out of the box the EDFC is only 16-way Front and Rear. Once you turn on the EDFC you need to hold a couple of buttons for 2 seconds then it will switch to 32 mode. Basically you are doing half turns in 32 mode compared to the 16 mode which equal 1 adjustment for one for turn. The EDFC is good because you can have 3 presets at a touch of a button. Once you get on the highway you can make the ride a little stiffer. All in all I like the Flex with the EDFC.

Brew. i was saying that i could mess it up becuase im not very knowledgable about adjusting suspension components

Franklin: The whole point of the EDFC is to have 3 settings; Street, Hard Street/ Track, or Track. Sure you could set if different but whats the point of having a preset thats just a tad bit stiffer or softer for daily driving? I can live with a little harshness and i dont need to adjust anything on the fly when im on my way to work, if i go to the track i can set it up there.

With the Tien it's pretty much plug and play. Once you swap to the coilovers adjust and set the hight you want for front and rear and then hook up the EDFC which will handle the dampering. You do not have to touch them again unless you feel like raising or lowering the height of the car.

For those spur-of-the-moment occurrences :D :P
