srt4 wheel ?'s

what is the stock offset?

i'm looking for something along the lines of the fn01rc's (gloss black of course) in 16x7... needs to be lightweight, and black (or possibly black with polished lip if i can afford 2 piece wheels).

suggestions?

after looking around pretty halfassedly i'm thinking about the black w/ polished lip fn01rc's in 17x8 +35. that should fit, right?

I found this on a another site. Talks mostly about Neons but seems pretty accurate.


All OEM wheels have a 40mm offset. Offset is the distance from the mounting plane to the centerline of the wheel. A smaller offset will move the wheels outboard; a larger offset will move the wheels inboard. Too much change either way may cause clearance problems with wider tires. Anyone considering aftermarket wheels should keep the offset as close to 40mm as possible, since this dimension is engineered into the steering geometry. Also, altering offset by more than 1/4" (about 6mm) is illegal in SCCA stock classes for autocross.

stock srt wheel offset is 42-43, one of the two.

i had Rota Subzeros on the car im driving....they were 48mm offset so i had to buy 3mm spacers for correct fitment. Basically dont surpass 45mm offset and you'll be good

Correction, dont pass 45MM DEPENDING on Spoke design. I once had 42mm and you could barely fit paper between the caliper and spoke. Heck I even think it rubbed some caliper paint off
