today i was working at my fathers shop when low and behold a tercel rolls in now at first glance it was a tercel big whoop! But upon further investigation it had a 3ac in it which as we all know means a 4age will fit in it, so i looked on, it is a wagon w/ 4wd and manual tranny,
from that point i was hooked i want a 4wd al21(chassis code) and i want to put something in it never before done to a tercel wagon, like a 20v black top turbo so the celica GT-4 guys don't have all the fun,

did i mention its a wagon does that spell family car to any one my wife had me sell my MR2 'cause it was not a family car. so does this mean i will be able to have the motor of my dreams and a car for the family...........oh, i hope so!

Weird I've never herd of a awd tercel. Do you know what year it is? Any pics? I don't think awd will be good on a 20v. That will definately slow you down.

its really old. You'll need to reinforce the drivetrain. Not really worth it.

I'd look for an early 90's corolla alltrac and do a GZE swap. Much better idea.

if you want a real sweet situation, you can check some forums and see if you can get a 3sgte w/AWD :nworthy: tranny in there. its alot of money i'd imagine, but it would make you a really cool customer in my book :-o , and am sure you would be able to contend with and spank the dsm's and wrx's, that run the awd show.

if you need help i'll help just for some food and beer. :bigthumb:

I know for a fact that they make all-wheel drive wagons, because we had one when I was a kid. Never thought anyone would want to build one, but it sounds cool. By the way ours was an '84 with a 4 abnger and 5 speed. Drove that thing forever.
