Sorry I didn't make it. Hopefully Keith has some.

Congrats on 2nd place in SS! :nworthy: Aren't you tired of of being the first loser??? :D I heard it was pretty messy the two days you ran! Good to see the Z06 finally has some competition now!

Keith mentioned that something went wrong with your car at the Pro, is everything ok?

Ian had a control arm bushing tear out during the Finale. Mike Neary let him drive his M3 for the rest of the event, and Ian inconsiderately, went EVEN FASTER in Mike's car than in his own. :)

Yeah, Mikes car was Better then mine. Down on Power but handled better. granted my handling was a little FUBAR due to the control arm bushing and I don't know how long it was like that. I Also had a driveshaft flex joint failure on the way home. I've got the new Flex Joint sitting on my desk, Track pipe in the mail, X brace under the desk. Planning to order the larger injectors and chip soon, and ordering some 18's later in the week. See what I can do aginst the STi's in BSP (probably not much). Also going about 100lbs stiffer front and rear springs, and Jason Rhodes pretty much said "your shocks feel like they are worn out" so they are going out for valving (only had 36k on em).

Oh and the Radio Quit working on the way home as well so if anyone knows of a cheap cd player... I'm in the market!

VIR was a blast!
3.2 miles of hills and turns.
Car did great and I did not break anything - always good.
Yes - I have some video but it is on tape - need to get it converted to digital files.
Got home and looked at the tape and was disappointed in my lap times -maybe my survival instinct was kicking in.
Completed the Oak Tree turn and was shown the passing flag. I checked my mirrors and nothing back there. Motor on down the track in 4th gear around 100 and pass the next worker station and am shown the passing flag again. Again nothing back there. Another second later a black car completes the Oak Tree turn. Stick my arm out the window to give the passing signal and a Black Ferrari blows by doing at least 140. Another second and he is down the hill and out of sight.
Top speed in the 318i was around 115 in 5th gear. Two long fifth gear sections.
Brakes were great - Hawk HP + and the Kumho 710's held up great.
In between the track time and side trips to and from the track and to Tn - spent 42
hours driving and enjoed all of it. Midnight runs through the mountains are fun.

Oh competition wise - won my BMW National Autocross Class by almost 4 seconds.
Ian - you would be proud of me - put in a couple of good laps - just needed more power getting up and down the hills.

Gulfcoast (FT Myers)this weekend for Bay Bottom Crawl practiceand the the BBC the following weekend.

Take care,

Keith I had something Similar happen in Jean's Neon on Sebring last summer. Came out of turn 16 check the mirrors. Nothing there. Motor on down the back straight in 4th in the ole neon. Just before Braking for 17 I checked the mirror's again, Nothing in sight. Start braking just before the bridge a GT3 Cup car dove to my inside and was braking for turn one by the time I grabed 4th again on the front straight.
