gmc canyon r they worth buying?

im going to test drive an 04 canyon ext.cab tomm with the inline 5. i havent had any drive time with the inline 5cly and im trying to find out if they are worth it. any other cons about the canyon would help. (other than the fact that its not an 8cyl.)

I tested one. It's pretty sweet. Rides kinda smooth, but if you wanted a smooth ride, you wouldn't buy a truck. When they first came out, alot of people were skeptical about how the new motor would preform, but there haven't been any major flaws that I've herad of (and I watched it pretty close). By the way, why a Canyon? The Chevy Colorado is the same thing, but cheaper.
