Something about rubbing on your shaft just doesn't sound right!

Try loosening the bolts and re-aligning the flanges to gain clearance. You might also have the rubber hangers attached to the wrong side of its body connection. (ie. rubber should go on the left side of body tab, versus the right side.) This happened on my brother's car when he installed his Blitz Realize TT in the middle on the night with a flashlight. Incorrect mounting in the rear axle area resulted in a driveshaft clearance of ~1mm.

I've heard that the rear piping section nearly kisses the pumpkin (even when properly mounted) with the n1 duals , is this true?

yea it goes on the left of it. as far as i can tell just by looking it looks like mine is touching it. but i also have my rubbers on the wrong way. (hehe doesnt sound right eh?) once i correct the hangers it should be an inch or 2 away from the diff.

Moral of this thread:

Learning to put a rubber on properly will keep you from rubbing your shaft.
