Default financing question???

I got a question for those who have financed their bike, if i cant go through a dealer because im buying from a private seller, and i get a loan through my bank, would i have to have insurance on the bike I have heard this is true

Depends on the loan. If you get a motorcycle loan, most places require you carry full coverage. If you get a personal loan, i.e. a Visa card, no insurance required, but you'll end up paying the same cost in a higher APR and you won't get your loan paid off if you total the thing. Just carry insurance.

Bodily and minimum are never required by loan companies. They're only concerned with losing their money on a totaled bike, so they require comp and collision. Why not just save up a few duckets and buy a used bike that you wouldn't be sad about dropping?

Well i did buy a used bike yester day its a 2004 triumph daytona 600 :woot:

Has 5,000 miles on and i got for about 7,100 with a 2 year warranty
