I thought this would be interesting.
Post a picture or description of a car that you think many people have never seen. Whether because it's so rare, or just plain cool and want to show us. Even if it's something you've seen before, others may not have. I'm thinking along the lines of something you don't usually see around town ;).
Heres mine -
I saw a picture today of a 59 El Camino and I don't know about you guys, but I like it! I've never seen one before and didn't even realize they made them back that far. I really like the back of it and the fins.

^^ You can't tell how short it is until you see the side views, and then I saw it's driven from the passenger seat lol. Not what I expected! But I like it.

1963 Chrysler Turbine The body was made by Ghia, and there were a bunch made and given to customers to test drive for a few months. As you can tell it never worked out.

OK, heres my submission. I already know some of you may not think this is a "true" muscle car because its a 6 cyl. and is FWD, but believe me, it is. The X-11 was a true rally race car that only happened to be based on a granny grocery getter. And, yes, the cowl induction is FULLY functional. The first pic is stolen from the X-11 history page and the second is my "beast". The emblem on the hood scoop reads "High Output V6" and for what it is, it is very high output. More info about these wonderfull sleepers can be found at www.geocities.com/citation_x11/

The cossy vega!! Awesome. Actually, I just seen one go on evilbay (number 2455 of 3000, I think it was) that was in great shape with only minor things to may it truely outstanding. Forget how much it was going for.

69-72 Chevy Blazer. THis body style is rare enough but the elusive 2 wheel drive is VERY hard to get. I am lucky enough to own both. 2wd is a 3000 pounder so easily made quick.

My Dad had a 1971 Mustange Grande that he sold a few months back. They were considered the luxury Mustange at the time. It had a 351 cleveland and all the other options that you would find in a mach 1 except for the trunk.

Cool car.. My dad used to have a '73 Grandé with modded 351 Cleveland. Vinyl top was removed, it was painted metallic purple that turned electric blue in direct sunlight, and we put 18" billet five spokes on it. It might sound like a lowrider or something (lol) but was far from it.. I would describe it as a pro-touring style hot rod.
I've never seen so much rubbernecking as when we used to cruise around in that beast. If I ever find a pic of it I will post it up.
Mike
p.s. the Mustang I concept looks like an escape pod

71 Grande awesome, when I was a kid some friends of our family that lived around the block from us had a blue one. That car was sharpe when new, I never was much of a Ford guy, but I would walk home from work everyday past it and just dream about having somethong like that.
