help: with 00 celica 6-speed

my sisters friends father and i replaced the clutch assemble on the her 6-speed gts celica...when replacing only a piece of the clutch disc was remanining...flywheel had good teeth but looked to have burns on it, optd not to worry bout it..ut everything back together , fluid etc. started it drove it ran perfect shifted perfect , downshifting etc. now thers a sudden "chatter" into 1st and reverse....what could this be any help greatly appreciated

did you replace the pilot and throw out bearing?

hmm not sure , i ask him he said he replaced everything thast needed to be ..i was doing something else while he was installing the clutch kit..ill ask tho ...thanks
