First run with dan (both off the bottle).. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

From a 45 roll, i get my normal jump and just kept pulling. Was about 1 1/2 cars to 125 or so.


2nd was an old firebird on welds, sounded sick, on spray (I sprayed, too)...

We head out on a 20 roll or so (where ever he decided to slow down to, didn't look at spedometer), i decide to try not to spray in 1st, and it takes me too long to flip the switch after I hit 2nd, then I missed 3rd, got it back in and leveld it out and started pullin a little, then he let out a few cars ahead.

2nd run from another 20 i decide to spray in 1st gear, he jumps out 1-1/2 cars and it levels out, start catching and he lets out.

3rd run from about a 40 he takes the jump, I almost instantly level it out and start pulling. Got out a half car on him to about 100-110. Talked to him afterward and he was apparently having some issues on the spray. Him and the woman he had with him were very good people, talked to them for probably a half hour after the runs.


Next John and his sexy ass z06 (me on the bottle)..

We head out and agree to a 45 roll (I'm scared to hit 2nd gear on spray), 3 honks and we're off. The typical nitrous jumps occurs and I continue to creep away to maybe 2-3 cars at about 115-120.

Then John let me drive the z0sex! What a badass car, and I am definately looking for one!

We went ahead and hard wired the solenoid instead of using the relay, which was my problem... it hits pretty hard now. Was suprised.

Ok, number one: The last race we were neck and neck until Ivan got off the gas. Then you passed us.

Number two: Our carb screwed up. But I also saw your car bucking a lot too, so I know you were not 100% either.(Mustang...bucking...go figure...lol)

Number three: You were right...beating this car is definitely not a big accomplishment. Yes, it is a junk-yard motor that we put together with spare parts. And beleive it or not, that is only a 125 shot. But it is a plate, and plates hit really hard.
This is by far not a "big dog" as far as the family goes.

But I am not here to make excuses for anything. Neither of our cars were at their best. My Hubby says he will race again this Sunday for no $ at all. He just wants to show you what the FireChicken can really do.

I know we told you last night, but once again... thanks for racing. We didn't think anyone actually raced anymore.

Next time can we race from a dig as well? This roll crap doesn't work well for my 'Bird.

That firechicken sounded pretty mean. I'm curious as to what cam is in it. You say 'junk' parts, but I saw a pretty nice VictorJR. on it. :-D

Well, when you have been building cars since you were 16, you end up with some pretty decent "spare parts". Yes, it's a Victor Jr, but that is "old skool" compared to what everybody else runs. It has a Comp Cams .507 lift cam and get this... 9:1 compression with stock DISHED pistons. I put the car together to cruise in... it is by no means a all out race motor. Pump gas is expensive enough. I am over it with the race gas street cars. It sounds mean because I have the large tube exhaust from my old stroker motor still on the car.

Yea the very last race the bird got out on me and I started creeping past up top.. at no point did I start pulling away fast or anything, just a slow creep back up to your door before we let out. I'm running a pretty healthy hit of juice, only reason I can hang with some of the cars I do.

Not many faster cars make a lot of runs out there, but glad I could give you a good race and hopefully my car gets a little faster by next week. Nice meeting you both btw. :)

Oh yea, I need to add a kill... On the way out about a 96 vette rolled up next to me as the light turned green.. he got to my front bumper and nailed it, I followed suit ready to rock in 1st gear. I proceeded to stomp this thing to about 3-4 cars to 75-80mph.

Good runs fellas, Those maybe 12.50's but they are a bit taller than 26". The bird did sound good. If i am out with the s10 this weekend i will gladly give you a run. Got any extra parts laying around for sale.
