GM kappa the next s13?
I know everyone has seen this but did you know they are planning a coupe and 3 door hatch of this platform? It seems like the most awesome thing in a long time.
I fully plan to get one as soon as a roof is available. The only cars based on the platform right now are the saturn sky and pontiac solstice. The saturn looks fucking awesome!
I'm excited because it has FR layout, kind of light weight, same wheelbase as ae86, a regular ass 5 speed no gizmos or electronics, mechanical lsd, good suspension, 4 cyl, and it's american. No more waiting months for parts and all that.

To me it seems to have the ingredients of a great bunch of drift cars.

My mom is getting the 1st one in Fl.(SKY) Silver w/red&Black interior 5spd 2.4L VVt 170hp
But ill bring it out as soon as she gets it. Id sport that shit for a date or something hell yeah!!

I've been saying this for the last few years. With full frame and prices starting in the low $20k's, they'll be a hell of a force to contend with when S13s and 14s are as old as Corollas are now.

wtf mate, WHATS WRONG WITH NISSAN AND TOYOTA??????????????????? we need cheap easy to drive RWD platforms. i can think of new engines from both companies that would be great in nice rwd coupes and hatches. the miata is still #1 in my book.
