as a kid my dad had a 68 camaro ss. he keeps talkin about how he wants another one. so since he has always helped me fix up my cars i wanna buy him a 68 camaro. so i was wondering if anyone knew where i can find one that we can restore.:) thanks for the help.

wow good luck with finding one thats kinda a rare car for someone to just have layin around i tried to find one not too long ago and everyone that had one wanted to keep it

the american iron tech forum would be a better bet

to be honest, unless its an lt1 or ls1 car, we dont have many posters in here for other stuff

Thats great that you want to do that for your dad! But it may be hard to find one. What are you looking to spend? Even one that needs to be restored won't be cheap, especially a true SS. Not long ago I was searching E-bay, and found nothing less than $5,000 and the cheapest had half the car missing.
Try American Iron tech also, someone may have seen something around town. :)

im lookin to spend around 6000 to 8000 but if i need to spend more ill be willing to. thanks ill try the american iron tech

I know a guy with a 1970 Camaro...he'll probably sell his for 7-8K.
He drives it to work sometimes. Looks pretty decent, but could use some more detail work.

no i didnt my dad doesnt want the 70 camaro. he really wants a 67-69. he wants his childhood car. sry but thanks for your help.
