i just threw in some new ngk plugs and messed with the car a bit and decided to take it for a quick spin. i picked up my boy rich and we headed out. :bigthumb: i was taking it easy to warm up the car and we come to a light. i havent been able to run the car too hard lately bcz everytime i would, the notorious "sputter" would come up from behind me and whoop my ass :dunno: . it seems no matter where i went, it was always there to find me and keep me from a winning run :nworthy: . since we tweaked the car a notch to try to get it to pull all the way thru the powerband i decided to see if this time i could pull it off. the light goes green and i hit it . as i reach 5800 rpm i can almost feel sputter reeling in behind me and then it happens :whoa: ! my "toyota vtec" kicks in and i rail it all the way thru 8500. sputter just couldnt keep up with me this time :headbang: .

Finally, I remeber the first story you posted about this....usually it is the Sparkplugs and what not, but thats awesome...good for you man....

yeah, i'm happy about it too. i can finally give some long over-due runs to some fellow tr members.

sucks to hear you're w/o boost tho? what happened?

I had two tickets in 6 months, I can't afford insurance while at college because I don't have a job....Oh well...

that really sucks. i thought you were going to say the car was gone or down but to have a running car and not be able to drive it? i dont know which is worse :dunno:

not necessarily, its been a battle trying to get this piece to run right. not all war stories involve racing cars! but i am happy it finally runs better :mrgreen:

ok, you will only use it for one pull anywayz because your engine wont take it for too long lol.......so ok.........
