Looks like fun. I've done the dry ice method before and its MUCH easier.

I did the dry ice method as well. It doesn't work as well in the middle of summer. It only works for the tar based panels, too. Stuff on the center console, wheel wells, and a few other places have sticker-type adhesion. That requires (or is aided by) a heat gun. If you take your time like me (one full week!), you can have a (mostly) scratch free interior without painting. I really like the look of the stock paint with patches of grey/tan factory primer. I mostly used a small hammer and a 1/4" worn down (so not to scratch) flat head screwdriver.

I weighed all of the tar that I removed, and came out somewhere around 25lbs. With the carpet back in, it's not a lot louder like you'd expect either. Another tip: Crawl under the dash and remove the padded rubber sheet that's against the firewall. Significant weight for what it is, and didn't really affect the sound level in the car. Mine had hardened and cracked anways.

Since dry ice doesn't grow on trees, here is where to find it near you. Select "penguin brand dry ice" and type in your info!

you can get dry ice at publix. but it's usually the larger publix stores that have a pharmacy.
