Why in the world would I pay, "considerably more," than $100,000 for a big block car when I can buy a crate 572ci BBC for $12,000, turn-key, and drop it in my '67? Viper rear end? How about a drop in 9" for $2000-$3000? 5 speed transmission - $2500 drop in T56 6 speed instead. Disc brake kit? $1500. Rack and pinion steering? Aftermarket A frame costs like $3000.

Now, considering I paid $12,900, we'll round it to $13,000, for my car, that'd bring the grand total up to, drum roll, $32,000. That's cheaper than a stock 4th gen Z28. Over that $100,000+ atrocity, I'd have more horse, more torque, and it'd be a real '67 Camaro!

Same reason people pay $150,000 for a Foose car...some people have more money than common sense. Sweet car not worth $200,000 though.

Frank I agree..I'd build a car instead of buying one of these even if the prices were less drastic.

Of course, we could of made the same argument back in 71 that you could build an 11 sec. Camaro for alot less than the $10,700 that a BM 454 Stage III cost. Heck, that was more than a 71 Ferrari..No joke! But, today those Stage 3's are practically priceless and one of the ultimate trophies for serious collectors.

Personally, I think these cars will be bad to the bone and if history is a guide the Motion name will protect the buyers investment quite nicely.
