04-05 or 06s

i want to take a poll to see how people like the differences between the 04-05 body and 06 body.

i personally like the 05 alot better. dont like the new tail lights or front end. to me the 04-05s look alot more aggressive.

Bug eyes pwn joo :) actually the 04-05's are really growing on me. Teh badassed ass WRX/STi evaaarrrrr would be a 05 STi with the 02-03 rear bumper and tails, or maybe even a 02-03 with the EDM projectors and the STi fog covers, both give me a hard on :naughty:

Bug eyes, to me are the best, not because I have one either, I just like the look. I was about to purchase an 04, when I decided to get the 02 because of the front.

But I like them all...

it just happens that the 06's are fresh out, and i was able to make the transition with relative ease.... (not that i tired of the 05's, or such)

they are still very similar in emotion, IMO, and look like brothers regardless of the head/tail's....

so, anyone have the total?

I do not think that the '06 is agressive enough as the 04-05 sti. I think the tail lights are kinda cool. I DO NOT like that second wing above the rear window. The new head lights are cool, but the whole configuration up front is ugly. If you stand from the side, it looks longer that usual. In addition to it being long, it doesnt make the bbs rims look as cool as they usually do. Personally, I am in love with the 04-05 look. Oh, and the price tag, yea, it went up, too; around 35k. So, that means if you havent had your sti long and you are financing it, well... your gonna be in a world of hell b/c that 35 will turn into 40 something.
To finish this off, you need to see one in person before you make conculsions. i saw one and was disappointed. Holy crap, you should see just the plain wrx...hideous! I could hardly tell it was the wrx! Anyways, what I tell people is, "whatever suits your fancy." What I mean by that is it totally up to you what you like. I put my input out there. Im just not a fan of the sti's new look.
One thing to remember, is that it is still an sti. We all have to respect and enjoy it no matter how it looks, drives, or feels.
