LMAO! $1500? they must be smoking dope, I will stick with my MegaSquirt with EDIS4, so I have to wire some things, I think a little wiring is worth a savings of $1200, especially since 2nd generation MegaSquirt boards are now available...with the 3rd gen boards in the works

Same price as all other PLUG AND PLAY ECUs. What seems to be the issue with the price? :dunno: If you want to plug and play, expect to pay more, if you want to save money, expect to work more.

I tried to read up for about a week on the megasquirt system, sounds like an awesome setup b/c you can have it do whatever you want it to do...but I'll be damned if I could figure out the whole circuit board and relays and fuses and all that stuff. I know cars, but not electrical stuff, that is way over my head, props to you Josiah for being able to use the megasquirt, I'm sure it kicks ass. It took me like 3 days to install my Zeitronix, and thats like 12 wires lol

actually the MegaSquirt wasnt hard to install at all...no harder than say a SAFC...although now that I have switched to an SRT engine with the NGC crank trigger I have to convert to EDIS4 which is a little more wiring intensive but still seems pretty straightforward, the hardest part is actually figuring out a way to mount the trigger wheel, or rather finding one that is easier to mount to my pulley than my current one...which seems to be made of powdered steel and cannot be welded...but anyway, I guess its not too much more expensive than an AEM...but ouch, thats $1500, hope the thing has decent resolution
