well after going out last night w/ my dr's and not being able to use them I have came to the realization I need to actually buy a clutch.... its like a gun with no bullets and your wifes sleeping around.

here are my requirements...

car will probably never see the track... or higher gears then 3.42's... dont feel like tearing into my rear end... I'll keep the 10bolt and wont run anything bigger then the 245/16/50 drag radials I have now... I just want to be able to launch it... slam some gears and have my clutch spring back for me..

having a stiff pedal is no big deal for me... I drove around with a spec clutch on a 5.0... so I'm used to it.

I dont feel like emptying my bank either... whats your guys reccomendations?

Im running the Ram Powergrip HD and like it. A bit touchy for street driving though. It takes some finesse to take off. Holds like a MFer though. Also NO chatter. My Spec lasted me 5k miles with no races and on radials. Ill never buy another Spec.

forgot to mention... clutch being hard to drive... finicky... sensitive... stiff doesnt matter... just as long as its consistent and holds power..

i loved my centerforce dual friction, but only because i got a SWEET deal on it.. normally they are expensive as fuck.. im also in the market for a clutch right now, for similar purposes, and im looking into the ram powergrip and a spec stage 3... ive heard mixed things about the spec and ive heard basically nothing about the ram except for what carl said.. there arent a whole lot of inexpensive street clutch options for our cars :(

Centerforce dual friction for me. It seems to be working great and it has a light pedal.
