IM RUNNING ON NITTO EXTREME SPORT 450 NT TIRES should i buy some of those cheap ass 12 dolla tires to practice drifting with so i dont ruin my good tires?

The obvious answer to that is yes. Why would you purposely shred good tires for practice?? Everyone I've ever spoke to said anyone learning to drive should just devour crappy tires for practice.

wow...alright. but funny how everytime you talk to me about the build-up im planning, you want me to order from you...thats all you say is "order from me, order from me!" but then you are going to insult the customers...awesome job on that one...but of course, this will either get deleted, or get me banned...w/e...stupid political bullshit anyway...

I have to agree.. they spin really nice too. I'd say get extra sets of wheels and get w/e tires you can afford on them. For the front's I'd go with Dunlop FM901s or some Hankooks. They are the all around best tire IMO for up front. Really good wet traction and dry. Lasted me 4 drift events and 3months of street drifting up front. Just get some spare wheels with some decent used tires on the rear or something. Always bring spares when you go out drifting.

well you come on here, you talk all this, and you have no car.

honestly, get your car going, get your shit running, THEN post.

you have no say in anything if you're not out driving at events.

you guys don't understand

go to chicago and you'll realize taht everybody even the beginners will beat 99% of the people that claim they are drifting in florida

i'm so discouraged, i feel bad florida FAILS so badly

I agree....A particular shop that is making alot of $$$ off of selling drifting parts needs to host some of there own events ;) (and cheap ones/frequent ones too)

Maybe if we didnt have self proclaimed professionals in the area talking shit to people who are getting a interest in the sport and want to know how to set a car up/where to practace florida would be as good as chicago... shit you can stay there fas far as im concerned...

if youll notice, matt only talks shit when people either
a. have no reason to post in this forum because they either, dont drift, dont have a car, or are just idiots.
b. are constantly negative towards everything.
c. dont deserve the help or respect.

all of us arent 15, and i could personally give a fuck about helping anyone that doesnt deserve it.

No, matt does talk a lot of shit...about other peoples set ups, the way they drive, or just them in general. and yeah, i dont have a drift car right now, because of people like superkaioken...this kid doesnt even belong behind the wheel of a car...i do own a car matt, just nothing rear drive...i do plan on going to dday, as a spectator. as soon as i find a decent car, i will be attending the events as a driver. noone on these boards has seen me drift, so everyone probably thinks im just some dumb-ass who wants to try it out...ha. i can drift, i dont care what you think...blah blah blah...stupid shit...

and the moral of the story is

until you are out at an event i dont care WHO you are octagon, matt chin, terry, bill, it doest not matter

if you are talking like youre some pro or like you can drift except nobody watches you

then you suck
and i dont want you contributing in the ' driving ' part of things

we need people who actually try, not post about it on the internet.
