well I like to be different, so I decided to keep the KA motor and since I use to be a tech at Nissan, I got some nice hook ups. it's a 93' motor with a brand new head, did a semi-racing i guess u can call it port and polish on it.. brand new oem altima cams, jwt valves, springs, retainers, lifters.. custom cai intake, stage 1 clutch, 11lb flywheel, vlsd, tein s-tech springs with gr-2shocks, oldschool cusco tc rods, tein tie rod and tie rod ends, 1990 300ZX front calipers and rotors re-drilled for 5 or 4x114.3 pattern, rear brembo drilled and slotted with axxxis pads, ss. brake lines, momo monte carlo steering wheel, nismo 70mm wheel studs, nismo motor mounts, e-fans, evotion exhaust with 2.5'' straight pipe, evotion underdrive pulley soon to go on, and lightened the chasis a bit. also have a nx express fogger kit that im going to put in to see how it fairs in the drifting scenario with the high revs... hey, gotta keep up with the SR's some how lol most of the parts I got from nissan for free and other stuff from the junkyard... not including the car itself I probably spent about 2000$ on mods.

I raced a couple of cars [for technical data only of course]
05 Nissan 350Z 6sp. - Dead even until 3rd gear, after that he pulled 2 cars on me.
02 S2000 2.0motor - From a roll in 2nd gear, I pulled but VTEC passed me in the top of 4th.
04 WRX STi - Pulled on him 1st and 2nd then got smoked after those lol

Damn!!! Long lists of mods and a pretty well held deaths, Pretty good.
Im about the same way w/a 350z but i can beat a S2000 ??but nvr raced a STi b4.

sweet ride man that looks like my 240 i drive a 1991 240sx hicas edition and im tring to get into the drift scene i havent really tried drifting well did but spin out all the time......... all ive been doin is researchin and tring to learn how to seems like a very fun sport..... and least dangerous out of all racing out there. all ive got on my car is cai exhaust from greddy and some other fiddle faddles.......

thanks man... yea, drifting is really fun and interesting. everyone spins out, dont let it discourage you, just go out and start yanking the ebrake in an empty parking lot or open area. also since you have the hicas model, you should pull the ABS fuse if you haven't already... it's not the best thing to have for drifting. And remember, where there is drifting, there is consequences of hitting something, so never throw away spare parts lol.

it all depends on what you use your car for, but I took out the metal bumper bars front and rear, all of the sound deadening, everything from behind the driver seat back, and a few things under the dash... car is still very stable at any speed and handles like a dream
