I have a 98 Lexus SC300 which I heard is a bitch to install a new headunit and speakers. I don't think anybody makes a dash kit for it, so it is going to need a custom one. Well I am stereo illiterate and need a good shop in the Tampa area that can give a CLEAN install. I want it to look like it belongs stock. I am not getting anything crazy, just the stock speakers replaced and would like everything to fit in the original location. I have been to AVE Audio in Countryside before but never for a custom job, Also I heard Auto Audio in Palm Harbor is pretty good, any other suggestion would be great.
Thanks

I wouldn't go to auto audio - high price for average quality work. Good tinting though. AVE has high prices but their work is above par, just make sure you tell them exactly what you want or else they will get creative :p I buy everything from ave. Jay > all
But if you have the will & the time, I would grab a knowledgeable buddy and learn how to do it yourself.

OK than AVE it is. I guess I just needed some reassuring. I would do it my self but the friends I have in audio do not live close and I do not want to even worry about it. Thanks guys

Did you go on a Saturday? i.e. when JJ doesnt work, and Dean, their box builder, runs the counter. He can seem like an ass at times, but hes a good guy, and a hell of a box builder.

Stereorama eh? I love ppl who say they got a very good install, then you look at the work it and theres more electrical tape than wire. ;) Just because it works right now doesnt mean its a good install, it just means they do know + from -

I go to Auto Audio all the time and they are not over priced at all. Their tint is great and the installers are really good. If you go just send me a message and i'll get every thing ready for you and you just show up. AIM SN: USFBull44

there shouldnt be any tape on those components :p the alarm should be taped into the steering column bundle to make it look stock though.

I go to Auto Audio all the time and they are not over priced at all. Their tint is great and the installers are really good. If you go just tell the owner Mike Mills, that Anthony Cline sent you and he'll hook you up with some sweet deals. Or just send me a message and i'll get every thing ready for you and you just show up. AIM SN: USFBull44
I will get a price from AVE first and if I think it is too high I will get back to you.
Thanks
