Just want to see some prices, and see if it can be done, on my volvo s70 the four door panels, have a section in them which the material is peeling, and thjere is really no way to put the leather back on i removed the door panels and tried to relay it but it wont work, so my next thought was like a black fiberglass piece on the four doors, something to make it look classy and custom in itself, i just want to see how much this will cost and just see if it can be done, leave some messages!

+1 be prepared to give up your first born if you dont know someone who works at a shop you bring it to. Stop by the Sound Advice on Dale Mabry near the stadium, ask for John, tell him you are from tamparacing, and see how much hed charge.

It all depends on just what you want done, what size speakers you're trying to fit in there, if you want it painted or carpeted or vinyled, etc. And it's almost impossible to give an accurate quote without seeing the car in person to figure out how much work is involved. You can expect to pay easily a couple hundred per door though.

alright then, well im not putting speakers in it just the leather is peeling off the door from heat and it loooks like shit i dont know what options i have to fix it, i removed the door panels, and theres no way to relay it and makes the interior look bad so what other option do i have?

I think an automotive interior shop would be your best bet.

there hasta be a way to glue it back down. we use contact cement in a spray gun. not shure what the door panels design is in ur car but sometimes the insert will unscrew in the back of the door panal(this makes life so easy. otherwise just mask off what you dont want glued n spray the panal and the back of the leather. let it tack for a minut then press it down. if theres a grove to tuck it in then use a screening roler(tool used for replacing screens in patios) and roll the leather into the grove. if you send me a picture of the panal i can tell you better how to fix it but i dont know the style of layout of ur door panals so its hard to give advice

Alright i researched it one and every ten of the 70 series has this glue problem, pretty much the only way to fix it is to remove the panel cutting out the material and or trying to relay the exact material, but volvo does make a kit to fix it, arm and a leg, but thats dealer for you, i posted some pictures

sorry having troubles with posting pictures right size

i would take a razor blade and cut it inside the grove then peal out the insert then glue it back in.if you tuck the cut inside the grove you souldent be able to see it. i would take it to a trim shop.theres one on east bay that is saposed to be good n fast.

see i dont think that will wrk because in researching it, some people say that the leather shrinks also, so im so much in bind, and i dont have a awhole lot of cash to be throwing around to fix it

you can just glue because the panel is non removable where the leather is peeling so i have no fucking idea

leather shrinks if you steam it well it pretty much just shrivels up into nothingness kinda like shrink wrap would. but i thought of a way to do it without having to cut it. go to a joeanne fabric and buy a can of locktight spray adheasive. then take out the door panel and pinch the leather where it has pealed up and begin pealing it up so that you get the whole insert portion bubBeled up from the plastic panel. next spray the glue through where the door handel hole and window switch parts are cut out of the leather. should work nicly and that glue will hold up really good. its like 8 bucks for a can but it will solve ur problum. FYI TO EVERYONE DO NOT EXPOSE LEATHER TO STEAM. lol a kid in my class caused $800 worth of damage tryin to steam out wrinkels in a leather seat
