Im new to TR and FL. please help.

Hello everyone. I just moved to Palm Harbor last weekend. I own a Lexus GS300 as a daily driver and my first toy is a 1992 eclipse GSX with 20g turbo, FMIC, hks vpc, and all the dsm toys. As many of you know dsms are very good at breaking and mine has done just that. (needs a tranny) My newest project is my 1993 240sx with an sr20det. A picture(she is ugly) and dyno sheet are posted in TR Garage. Unfortunately she is still in NH waiting install of 550cc injectors z32maf and an safc2 and another dyno run for tuning purposes. After that is done she will make it down here. I lived in NH my entire life before last weekend and I have been racing for many years. I raced in Portland ME, Concord NH, Manchester NH, and Boston MA. I think that not having my car and being away from the racing scene that I am used to will put me through withdrawals. I am VERY anxious to learn how the racing scene around here works. I am hoping that there are good people that are interested in racing and having a good time not shit talking and drama. If anyone would be interested in showing me around the racing scene here I would be very appreciative. The Lexus is slow but she is a comfortable ride and I would be happy to take her out any night or ride with someone else. I live in Palm harbor on rte 19, so if anyone is close and knows the scene around here let me know. THANKS,

hey, that crx doesn't look all that slow like the name implies. i see the front mount. I used to have a crx with a b16. No boost, but it was still fun. That thing must fly!

well right now its slow, the motor is in pieces but when its back together up and running it should be pretty decent....still slo though ;)

I wasnt going to Z fever I had a job accross the street at brake and clutch. I work on my own car at XAT Racing not z fever. Unless you saw me with Norlandt we went there the other day in his car getting parts for him.

Nice try about the slow thing. I already left a remark for you in your TRGarage. I like the car. I obviously noticed that you have a ton of power, so this question may seem like childs play for you, but i need help from someone who is past the 14ish psi limit that the stock maf and injectors place on your car. I am at that spot now and i want to go beyond. I have a FP Big 28 turbo which is near identical in power to the gt28rs aka disco potato. I only want around 325-330 whp on the car for reliability which this turbo is great for, but i don't know how to overcome my next step. What i usually hear is "z32 maf 550cc injectors ecu reflash and be done" i didn't know if there were any other options. im kinda light on cash due to being new to the area, so i was thinking $225 ebay injectors, upgraded maf(z32 q45 cobra... not sure which. open to ideas?) an safc and some dyno time. im thinking this would be cheap and also get the job done efficiently. i don't want to run race gas in this car. only 93 for daily driveability. I posted a thread in the nissan forum before, but i was not really happy with the limited advice i received. can you help me..... PLEASE!? thanks

z32 is best for rom tuning purposes. 550cc injectors are good for up to 380hp but i would never get ebay ones get some that are proven. I have a set of power enterprise 550's I can sell you. With the setup you want you can get away with a safc but I swear by the rom-tune because I have had nearly 400hp for almost a year and a half and I still have perfect compression on stock 15 year old nissan internals. Not to mention we have the best rom tuners for SR's in the country IMO. You will have a hard time making the power you want with a safc and no cams. I had a disco potato back in the day. If you ever want some advice or to meet up pm me with your number we can be friends as long as dont get the ebay injectors.... jfwy lol goodluck -Tim
