Do you know if you could weld a cutout off of a 3 inch catless downpipe, kinda turn it into a NeedsWings? I would be interested but I already have a 3 inch downpipe without cutout

A shop could cut the downpipe and put this (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&Ntt=exhaust+cutout&N=0&part=SUM%2DG4822&autoview=sku&Ntk=KeywordSearch) in place.
