I just installed the mid-bass in the stock door location with a spacer in the g/f's 98 Nissan Altima. I used a dremel tool to cut out a round circle in her detachable sail-panels and I guess "surface mounted" the tweeters.

They sound pretty damn well powered by the STOCK headunit. I hooked them up to my home reciever which outputs 75 watts and they sounded quite loud and clear, before installing them in the car! The mid-bass had a good amount of excursion and the silk tweeters were pretty smooth. They are probably getting 15 watts and they are rated @ 100 watts, and still sound pretty darn good.

I don't think you can beat them for $150.00 shipped. :dunce:

Wait, is this an actual audiophile related thread in here? I must be seeing things, this doesnt happen in here anymore. Its good to see people still appreciate good sound. Glad you enjoy them.

^If my girlfriend treats em' right! :-P Eh, I know she will.

The only other thing she might do is replace the stock headunit and replace the rear speakers if they blow.

kpr10is: yeah, I was thinking the same damn thing. I used to post alot here and this sub-forum actually had regulars.

Oh shush Jesse. We molded my sister sail panel for her altima and had a hell of a time fitting the e12a in that fiberglass box.

I've been so busy with school + work + new house, I have ZERO time for anything audio related :( It makes me sad.

Pictures because I was bored. The stock tweeter location was behind the door handle, which really sucked.

Yes I have been CRAZY busy with the girlfriend, work, school, working out, everything else life calls for I hardly been able to surf online forums as much. My latest project is prolly sealing up the 15" so its more tight and not so boomy

So these comps are only $150 shipped?! Thats damn cheap....too bad I dont have a 4 chan amp or I could run these along with my infinity highs
